The construction and establishment of training institute was funded jointly by the Federal Republic of Austria and Bhutan, it has a lot of advantages. Since 2008, Tourism Schools, Salzburg (ARGE) has played a major role as a technical partner for RITH. They have helped with their expertise in curriculum development, training and capacity development. The courses offered at RITH are developed in close consultation with the stakeholders in Bhutan and is in line with the international standards. The Diploma programs are also jointly certified by Tourism Schools Salzburg. |

Within the region, the Institute has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Mahidol University International College in Thailand to encourage closer ties and to establish exchange programs and collaboration in areas of mutual interest and common benefit. |

HWZ is the oldest and biggest part-timeUniversityfor economics and Business Administration inSwitzerlandand is a part of theZurich University of Applied Sciences. |

The Institute works closely with Department of Occupational Standard (DOS), Ministry of Labour and Human Resources, Bhutan. DOS regulates the quality and relevance of technical and vocational education trainings in Bhutan. The diploma programs offered here are accredited with DOS, whereby after successfully completing the diploma programs the students are given the National Diploma Level 2 Certificate by MoLHR. |
